![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If none of that works, then I haven't a clue. I understand that some versions of FCP don't let you alter this parameter, in which case your alternative is to download "Riva Tuner" (again, Google it) and use this to set the "Prerender Limit", which is the same thing I've been talking about. You're doing the same thing, here - the two manufacturers are simply using different terminology. Use it to set "Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames" in exactly the same way I described for ATI. If, instead, you have an NVidia card you probably have a utility pre-installed called the "Forceware Control Panel". It shouldn't be any higher than the default (3) and even that causes some problems with the Gamebryo engine which Oblivion uses. Don't go any lower than 1 (you can set it to 0) or you'll probably reduce your fps significantly. If that doesn't help and you have an ATI graphics card then install "ATI Tray Tools" (Google it) and set "Flip Queue" to either 2 or 1. You can do that from within the Oblivion.ini file or from the game launcher. Thanks to HeyYou, because his advice helped me solve that the problem wasn't my game software.First, open up your Oblivion.ini file and search for the following string:īUse Joystick=Make sure there's a "0" and not a "1" after the equals sign if you're not using a joystick.ĭisable VSync, which is known to cause problems with Oblivion in general. I hope that made sense, and i wrote it out just incase some one else was in a similar position as i was. So i just swapped around the settings and now have my Razer to max and CP to 0, and since the menus completely ignore the CP settings everything is all fine now. While the in game sensitivity still used both settings and was still normal. And for some reason when i would use the menus in oblivion it would use the settings from my Razer config and completely ignore my CP settings, and since my Razer was set to lowest, my menu sensitivity was very heavy. Since i had my CP mouse config set to max sensitivity i ended up setting my Razer config to the lowest sensitivity. The problem was actually my mouse, I have a Razer Death Adder, and the thing with Razer mouses is that they come with a separate mouse configuration that also stacks onto your normal mouse configuration in your control panel. I have looked through the forum for any mods, patches or some type of fix, but came up with nothing, so i decided to post it myself to see if it can be fixed and maybe help anyone else with the same problem.īrian LeHury Posts: 3416 Joined: Tue 6:54 am very annoying "bug", and was hoping to get the problem fixed before Skyrim arrives. This is not a deal breaker at all, but just a very. But with Skyrim on the way, i had the urge to play Oblivion again, and was soon reminded about this problem. I have had this problem with all Bethesda games, such as Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV, but i svcked it up and took it like a man and still played the full game only because it was so damn fun. But when i enter a menu screen it takes 3 entire strokes of my mouse pad to get it across my full screen. To put it into perspective, my sensitivity is set up so that one stroke from the edge of my mouse pad to the opposite edge, equals the full length of my monitor perfectly. For example when im running around the world of oblivion jumping in the air, swinging my sword at trees, punching deer in the face, and trashing shopkeepers merchandise, my mouse sensitivity is perfectly fine in response to my normal sensitivity, but when i start any menu related features, like opening chests, looting corpses, shopping, main menu, pick pocketing, inventory etc. Just like the title suggested, i have a menu sensitivity problem, and what that means is that when ever i open a menu of some sort the mouse sensitivity drops drastically.
